Currently the University supports two reference software packages -
The above two packages are recommended for anyone who is doing detailed research e.g PhD students, Researchers and Lecturers.
For subjects, which rely heavily on the use of mathematical symbols and equations, other packages such as LaTeX and BibTeX are available. Although we do not offer any formal support for these packages more information can be found from the links below.
A web-based package called RefWorks is available free of charge to all members of the University. This package is not as comprehensive as Endnote or Reference Manager and is intended for Undergraduate and taught Postgraduate students or anyone wishing to collect or access references off-campus. Please note the University does not run any courses on RefWorks, but comprehensive online help is available from the RefWorks web site.
Is there any FREE reference software available for Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate students?
